Close to Bodie Island Lighthouse on the sound side. Fishing and crabbing in the sound. Only 4 miles to the Oregon inlet Fishing Center with the largest charter boat fishing fleet on the eastern seaboard. Many restaurants in easy reach. Two and a half miles from Nags Head Fishing Pier and the popular Fishheads Bar&Grill (live music in - season), one mile further to the oldest pub on the Outer Banks Sam and Omies, only a little further to Tanger Outlet Mall and go-karting.
