Much love, respect, and work has gone into creating The Chalet at Cape Catherine to be appreciated by family gatherings and groups wanting to bond and enjoy Lake Catherine for its beauty, adventure and peacefulness in a clean, well-cared for home. Outdoor security cameras with views of the entrances and exits have been installed. They are only monitored if neighbors inform us of excessive noise (past quiet hours) or parties occurring. We value and respect the privacy of our guests.
Guest Access:
Cape Catherine is a private peninsula on Lake Catherine. The peninsula is home to 3 houses; The Big House, The Chalet and The Cottage, and an RV called the Bluebird of Happiness. You will be sharing the peninsula with guests in the other two houses. However, you will be the only one to have access to The Cottage. The Cottage is not shared with anyone.

Cape Catherine is a private peninsula located in a quiet residencial area with 3 houses, an RV, 3 different docks and plenty of outdoor fun.

Important: Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through my property management software. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. This house is on Lake Catherine. Entergy drains Lake Catherine every year for shoreline maintenance and general Lake Health. That means that FROM MID-NOVEMBER TO MID-MARCH THERE IS NO WATER ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE PENINSULA AND VERY SHALLOW WATER ON THE EAST SIDE
