Walk down the hill to Jonathan Creek (Mountain View Creek Park) at the neighborhood entrance where you can fish or enjoy a picnic along the water’s edge (grills, picnic tables, and parking are provided too). The property is at approximately 2900’ elevation with a paved access road (no 4-wheel drive necessary) and a brand new concrete driveway. Ole Hickory, an authentic cabin, is one story (only a couple of steps onto the porch for those needing easy access) and features all the modern conveniences including a gas fireplace and an indoor, two-person, jetted bathtub to soak away your worries after a long day of hiking, skiing, white water rafting, fishing, shopping, a round of golf at the country club, or just cruising along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The large, wrap-around deck and firepit area are perfect for taking in the winter views of the Smoky mountains and the award-winning golf resort below. The large, fenced-in yard is perfect for your small dog. Sleeping arrangements include a king bed in the owner's suite, a queen bed in the second bedroom, a queen sleeper sofa and a twin sleeper sofa in the living room. We also have Smart and Roku tvs with ESPN +, Netflix, Disney +, Hulu, etc. Ole Hickory is under brand new ownership, and the new owners are committed to providing guests with a clean and comfortable stay.
