4 Bedroom Cottage in Cwmcarvan
There is plenty to explore with ancient woodlands and well-marked footpaths available from the front door and for keen cyclists, there is access onto the National Cycle trail with route 42 and plenty of local mountain biking. Visit one of the many vibrant market towns, the closest being Monmouth with its ancient bridge and independent shops, and slightly further afield Chepstow, Abergavenny and Crickhowell, all steeped in history. The area is full of Norman castles and ancient abbeys such as the nearby Tintern Abbey, Raglan Castle, White Castle and Grosmont. There’s the Forest of Dean where you can explore not just ancient woods but nature reserves and deep caves, and the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains where you can enjoy mountain climbs, waterfalls and the River Wye.
Sitting in the grounds of a working farm this cottage offers an ideal space for friends and family to get together. It is very bright and sunny with three south-facing windows. On the ground floor is also the biggest bedroom, with two huge windows onto the garden, and a super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be also be made into a twin on request) with en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath, and WC.
